Club Nintendo is Shutting Down in 2015

Nintendo has announced plans to discontinue its Club Nintendo rewards program.

The company will be doing this periodically over the course of 2015, so it’s not too late for you to potentially cash-in on those rewards.

On April 1st, the company will stop including registration cards in physical game copies, followed by a termination of registration of digital products on April 20th.

On September 30th the Club Nintendo program will be entirely shut down, preventing users from signing up, logging in, or earning and exchanging the program’s Star currency.

Nintendo has confirmed that the upcoming New 3DS will not be registerable when it launches on February 13th, but software bundled with the handheld will be up until April 20th.
