Nintendo: Zelda Wii U Looks Better Now than E3 Reveal

From the sound of it, the Wii U iteration of The Legend of Zelda looks even better than it did when it was unveiled at E3 earlier this year.

Speaking with Famitsu (and translated by Nintendo Everything), Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma said that the game now “looks more amazing than what was shown at E3,” when asked how the Wii U game was turning out visually.

The Wii U did get a remastered version of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker last year, but this game will be the first in the series to debut on the Wii U. The game may feature a multiplayer component, but despite interpretations of the contrary, Nintendo has confirmed that the game won’t be open world in the style of an Elder Scrolls or Infamous game.

Nintendo is likely to reveal more on the game at next year’s E3.
