Minecraft for is Now Available on PlayStation 4

Minecraft for Xbox One comes out tomorrow, but in a surprise drop the PlayStation 4 version of the game has miraculously appeared on the PlayStation Network today.

The bulk of the port’s development was finished a few weeks back, but the PS4 version of Minecraft failed to pass Sony’s final testing.

After returning to the testing stages one more time, the PlayStation 4 version of the game is now available for you to buy and build to your heart’s content.

Players who have the game on PlayStation 3 can acquire the PlayStation 4 version for $4.99 and move saved data from PS3 to PS4 but not vice versa. Those who haven’t played the game on PS3 can get the PS4 version for $19.99.

As for the PlayStation Vita version, Mojang’s website confirms that the game will come to the handheld “in a few weeks.”
