Xbox Head Acknowledges Japanese Market is an Uphill Battle
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has acknowledge that while the Xbox brand has struggled in the past in the Japanese market, that’s not stopping him from coming on strong when the Xbox One launches in the country later this year.
In a response to a fan message on Twitter, Spencer described the Japanese market as “[not always being] the easiest market for [Xbox,] will be to launch and be at TGS.”
The Xbox One will come to Japan on September 4th. Microsoft recently revealed the launch line-up for the Xbox One, which includes games from last November to throughout 2014.
