Legend of Zelda Wii U May Feature Multiplayer
It has been hinted that the upcoming Legend of Zelda game for Wii U could have a multiplayer aspect.
When speaking with Game Informer, series director Eiji Aonuma was asked about a multiplayer Zelda experience, to which Nintendo’s veteran developer responded with the following quote:
“When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That’s something you will see in the future, maybe next year,” explained Aonuma.
During Nintendo’s E3 Digital Event, the company finally revealed a glimpse of the Wii U installment of The Legend of Zelda. The open-world game has been confirmed to come out some time next year, so it seems likely that this game is what Aonuma is referring to.
