A post on the official Mojang website confirms that the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita Editions of Minecraft will also be available in August.

Players who own the PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft will get the Vita version for free as part of Sony’s Cross-Buy initiative. The PlayStation 4 version of Minecraft will be available for a similar price as the Xbox One edition, coming in at $19.99 and $4.99 for PS3 and Vita players.

Players will be able to transfer saves from PlayStation 3 and Vita to PlayStation 4 but not the other way around.

Minecraft Xbox One Coming in August, Discounted for 360 Players

Minecraft fans will be delighted to know that the Xbox One edition of the game has a release window.

It has been confirmed through a post on the Xbox Wire that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be released world wide this August. The Xbox One Edition will run you $19.99 but should you own a copy of Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition it will only cost you $4.99 to upgrade to the next generation version.

Players will have the option to import their saved game data from their Xbox 360 to their Xbox One to take advantage of the game’s bigger worlds.

The Xbox One edition of Minecraft was announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year. The game was recently released on PlayStation 3 and is expected to make its way to the PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 in the near future.
