Today Turn 10 Studios announced that Forza Motorsport 5, with an attach rate of 1 to every 3 Xbox One consoles sold, is the fastest selling racing game in Xbox history. Given the large number of racing games that have come out over the course of the console family’s lifespan, including franchises like BurnOut, Need for Speed, Test Drive and Project Gotham, that’s a pretty big accomplishment.
Wait, did I say free track? Yes, yes I did. Turn 10 is giving out a fully integrated track, Road America, to all Forza Motorsport 5 owners. You can expect it in regular rotation in your career racing modes, as well as having career bonus events and Rival-themed events in multiplayer.
Alongside the new track, a Road America booster pack is also available, and is comprised of:
2006 #2 Audi Sport North America R8
1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1
1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4
1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1
2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series
These cars are free to Car Pass owners in addition to the promised six-pack deal that runs through May 2014.
