Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut: Ultimate Edition receives price cut on PSN

Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro’s beloved nonsensical adventure, Deadly Premonition, has been labeled at the price tag of $19.99 for quite a while. But now, so too is both the Director’s Cut: Ultimate Edition and Director’s Cut Standard Edition on the Playstation Network.

This price cut is permanent and has been put in place as I type this.

Playing as special agent Francis York Morgan (just call him York – everyone else does), players must investigate the brutal murder of a young local beauty. Amidst the backdrop of soaring mountains and a small American town, York must solve the mystery of the Red Seed Murders and stay alive in a place where supernatural creatures and a killer seek to end his investigation.

These special editions of Deadly Premonition hold a few things that the original version did not carry, such as HD graphics, improved controls, and downloadable content that lets Agent York “live it up in Greenvale.”
