Rayman Legends came out on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC last year, but new-gen console gamers still have a few more days of waiting. On the official PlayStation blog, Senior Game Designer Emile Morel took the time to answer a host of Twitter questions regarding the PS4 version of the game. Here are some of the highlights:
- The PS Vita can be used for remote play, Rayman Legends will be entirely playable on the Vita. However, you won’t be able to control Murfy using the touch screen like you can with the Wii U Gamepad.
- From a technical standpoint, the PS4 version boasts a higher texture resolution and no load times
- The Dualshock 4 touchpad will be used in unique ways, one of which is to enter a new Camera Mode which allows you to pause the game and explore the image on screen in detail
- Assassin Ray, inspired by Edward Kenway from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, will be a playable character
