Strange internet fascinations are a common enough thing, but the internet’s unabashed love of truck driving might be one of the oddest. Ever since its utterly hypnotic trailer debuted about a year ago, Euro Truck Simulator 2 has been the talk of the obscure gaming scene. It’s easy to see the appeal: everybody dreams of driving the big rig at least once in their lives. Well the whole thing just got even better. How? Two words:
Oculus. Rift.
That’s right. As though having your own private steering wheel, clutch, and set of pedals weren’t enough to let you sink into European shipping, now you wear Euro Truck Simulator 2 on your face. It’s not perfect, but check the video below for one more example of just how damn cool the Oculus is.
