SSZ PAX 05 Strike Suit Zero now available on Mac and Linux

Born Ready Games today announced that the Mac and Linux version of their space adventure “Strike Suit Zero” has officially launched for purchase on Steam. You may or may not remember that Born Ready formed a Kickstarter for Strike Suit Zero, with one of the stretch goals being a promise for a Mac and Linux version. That stretch goal didn’t quite reach its mark but that didn’t stop Born Ready. To avoid disappointing many of their fans, Born Ready continued their work and managed to push out what many of the backers hoped for, a Mac and Linux version.

Strike Suit Zero features intense, large scale space battles, with the transforming Strike Suit offering a twist to the traditional space combat dogfight. With craft designs by renowned mecha designer Junji Okubo (Steel Battalion, Appleseed) and a soundtrack composed by Paul Ruskay (Homeworld), Strike Suit Zero has impressed critics with its aesthetics and other-worldly atmosphere.

“Strike Suit Zero has seen great success on PC; it’s been great to see space combat fans getting back into the genre. Now we’re excited to bring that experience to both the Mac and Linux communities.” said James Brooksby, Born Ready Games CEO.

Strike Suit Zero is now available on Steam and can currently be purchased at a 50 percent discount off its normal price, $19.99.
