combo Hardware comparison   PS4 and Xbox One

We’ve got a bit more info on the guts of the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, and we’d like to share them with you.  While there is still a great deal of info to be answered, you can bet we will continue to dig as we head to E3.  Click for the full comparison sheet.

The choice of memory is an interesting twist. There are arguments in both directions about the speed differences between GDDR5 and DDR3, but nothing conclusive.  You can bet this will fuel that conversation.  Additionally, 3 operating systems on top of custom processors by Microsoft will also make for interesting interoperability if they are all run simultaneously.  It is fantastic to see BluRay on the list though – it does fix the problem of storage space.  On the Xbox One side I see the 500GB drive coupled with the demand that everything be installed to the hard drive being a space constraint sooner rather than later.  Guess we will see….
