Razer gives us a second chance at StarCraft II peripherials

If you are a StarCraft II fan but missed the chance to pick up the branded peripherals that Razer released, you’ve got another shot at it – they are re-releasing the peripheral pack for the title.  This means you can pick up the Razer Spectre (the StarCraft II mouse), the Razer Marauder (the StarCraft II keyboard), and the Razer Banshee (the headset).  Having seen them in action in FAR more capable hands than I, it gives a cool visual clue to the APM (actions-per-minute) of the player.  Beyond that, they look pretty sweet, seemed sturdy, and having put the headset on my head I can say quite comfortable.   Here’s a little bit more about them:

The Razer Spectre, Razer Marauder and Razer Banshee all feature custom-backlighting to match any gaming rig and are able to electrify StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm gameplay through an APM (Actions-Per-Minute) Lighting System. The APM Lighting System offers a fully integrated gaming experience that responds directly to a player’s maneuvers and speed, providing vibrant performance feedback that gamers can see. Each peripheral also features a gaming-optimized design with an emphasis on portability for tournament play and is stylized with design elements from the StarCraft® universe.

I’m about due to replace my Lachesis mouse…perhaps I need to reach out and try out the Spectre?  Hit up the official site at Razerzone.com to check out the individual units.  Be quick though – this is for a limited time.
