Let’s dance! Today SEGA announced that Platinum Games’ Bayonetta will be available for download on PSN soon. Bayonetta was a little-played gem from 2009 from the creator of Devil May Cry Hideki Kimaya, but as you may have noticed from the header image, Bayonetta is no Dante. The original game was a sexually charged beat ’em up that had a suprising amount of charm. SEGA seemed to like it, too. Take a look at what they have to say about it:
Directed by Hideki Kamiya, this stylish and cinematic action game is known for outlandish finishing moves that are performed with balletic grace as Bayonetta flows fluidly from one fight to another. With magnificent over-the-top action taking place in stages that are a veritable theme park of exciting attractions, Bayonetta pushes the limits of the action genre, bringing to life its fast-paced, dynamic climax combat.
If you’ve ever enjoyed a Devil May Cry game, you’ll love Bayonetta. It’s got crazy action, a fun heroine, and a lot of little easter eggs if you’re open to looking for them. You’ll be able to get a copy of Bayonetta on PSN for a mere 15 bucks, so be sure to stay tuned for it’s release.
