Fusible is reporting that as of January 10th, studio giant Warner Bros. went on a domain name buying spree – picking up a slew of Batman related addresses. While guessing the reason behind these purchases is like a modern day version of reading tea leaves to try and predict the future, at least a few of these names are suggestive. “Arkham Universe” is the one that really catches my eye – could we be in for a Batman game where the concept behind Arkham City spreads around the entire world? I’d say that sounds a little ridiculous, but keep in mind we’re talking about a guy in an animal costume beating the hell out of clowns and scarecrows, so let’s free up our imaginations a little. There’s more names, which you can see right after the cut.
And here they are.

Just look at those names: Arkham, Arkham, Arkham. Considering that the comic books have a storyline featuring Batman spreading, er, Batmania around the world, the prospect of a world-wide Arkham actually isn’t very far-fetched even by comic lore standards. Something for fans of the Dark Knight to take note of and keep their eyes on.
