Capcom E3 Lineup Announced

Capcom always seems to have one of the bigger presences at E3. When they were showing off Marvel vs. Capcom 3 two years ago, they had a large number of cabinets entirely dedicated for people to play it against each other in one section, and another section had a “zombie” locked up in a cage with other Dead Rising 2 decorations.  However, this year is their biggest ever, and they are using more space this year than they ever have before.

Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today confirmed the next wave of upcoming titles it will be showcasing at the 2012 E3 Expo in Los Angeles which opens officially tomorrow. In addition to playable debuts for Resident Evil® 6 and Lost Planet® 3 there will also be new content for DmC Devil May Cry®. Street Fighter® X Tekken® for PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment system will premiere the Cross-Platform Play functionality.

While Street Fighter X Tekken is already out on the big consoles, I’m curious to see what kind of cross-functionality it has.  I’m looking forward to the reboot of DmC Devil May Cry to see how unique this Dante is.  We’ll be getting a look at all these titles and we’ll be reporting back to you as we can.

While not working as a Database Administrator, Keith Schleicher has been associated with Gaming Trend since 2003. While his love of video games started with the Telestar Alpha (a pong console with four different games), he trule started playing video games when he received the ill-fated TI-99/4A. While the Speech Synthesizer seemed to be the height of gaming, eventually a 286 AT computer running at 8/12 Hz and a CGA monitor would be his outlet for a while. Eventually he’d graduate to 386, 486, Pentium, and Athlon systems, building some of those systems while doing some hardware reviews and attending Comdex. With the release of the Dreamcast that started his conversion to the console world. Since then he has acquired an NES, SNES, PS2, PS3, PSP, GBA-SP, DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Gamecube, Wii, Switch, and Oculus Quest 2. While not playing video games he enjoys bowling, reading, playing board games, listening to music, and watching movies and TV. He originally hails from Wisconsin but is now living in Michigan with his wife and sons.
