New XBLA Achievement Policy?

Gamers love their XBLA achievements, and an inside source reports to X360A that Microsoft is gearing up to let games offer even more achievements to players.

The new rules as seen above are a gigantic step up. Doubling the base requirement of the Gamerscore itself, greatly increasing the number of available achievements and allowing for more DLC additions gives companies much more room to work with.

There is speculation that this move is meant to cater to achievement-oriented gamers, particularly those who ignore DLC that doesn’t add to their Gamerscores. Anyhow, head on over to X360A to see the rumored policy update.
