Whether you want a sneak peek at the game, a chance to rewrite the 2011 World Series, or just need to warm up for your run at the Million Dollar Perfect Game Challenge, you’ll be glad to know the demo for 2K Sports’ MLB 2K12 is now available through Xbox Live and PSN.
The demo allows players to relive 2011’s thrilling, back-and-forth World Series and play three innings as the Texas Rangers or St. Louis Cardinals. In addition, it showcases many of MLB 2K12’s improved features, including the dynamic tendencies system that adjusts pitcher and batter ratings as the game unfolds; a revamped throwing system; and a new hit distribution system with more varied and realistic hit types.
The 360 and PS3 versions of the game will launch alongside others for the Wii, PC, PSP, DS, and — this is not a typo — the PlayStation 2 on March 6th. Further details on the Perfect Game Challenge can be found at 2K Sports’ official contest page.
