Capcom Confirms Date on Gaggle of Games

In case you hadn’t noticed, Capcom has been doing some pimping as of lately. In fact, in 2012 they are shifting their audacity to pimp into second gear with an extensive amount of re-releasing and re-hashing in order to satisfy their investors (and hopefully a few fans, as well).

It should be noted, however, that pimping isn’t a bad thing if done right – just ask Snoop Dogg. The Resident Evil 4 HD  re-release? Shoddy pimpage. The ICO and Shadow of the Collosus Collection? Excellent pimp form, that was.

With the upcoming Capcom Digital Collection , which was confirmed for a March 27th, 2012 release date today, we’ll see a small gaggle of Capcom games previously released in downloadable form on XBLA condensed into single-disc format for a unifying price of one cent less than $40.

If you’re the type of gamer personality that enjoys buying almost a dozen games at a time (Steam can do that to a person), here’s what you can look forward to in the collection: 1942: Joint Strike, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Final Fight Double Impact, Flock!, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil including Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus expansion, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3.
