Every console has an officially sanctioned line of games relabeled and repriced at a lower cost, or “excellent value” as the console makers prefer to look at it. Nintendo’s value collection, called Nintendo Selects, features games at $19.99 and so far includes The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing, City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, and Wii Sports.
Starting on August 28th, four new games will be added to the collection: Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers Charged, Punch-Out!!!, and Super Mario Galaxy. With the Wii console itself priced at $149.99 and being bundled with Mario Kart Wii and the Wii Wheel accessory, the platform is an attractive one for a budget-minded gamer.
