SideQuest Studios has published the first screenshots of Rainbow Moon, their upcoming PSN RPG, and we’ve got the lot of them. Though it might resemble an action game in the vein of Diablo or Torchlight at first glance, the developer is planning to mix open-world exploration with a strategic turn-based combat system to emphasize tactical prowess over brute strength.
Six distinct characters, each with different skill sets and gear options are in the works. SideQuest has only officially unveiled two so far, Baldren the swordsman and an archer named Trisha, so these pics are our very first glimpse of a dual-wielding brawler sporting a shock of bright blue hair.
Rainbow Moon is scheduled for release in Q4 2011 exclusively on the PlayStation Network.
