Sony Network Restoration Begins

Sony has certainly attracted a lot of painful attention just before E3, but they are confident those days are behind them.    Will there be further attacks?  Absolutely.   We’ll just keep our fingers crossed that Sony has beefed up security to prevent a repeat disaster. As a “Welcome Back” package, users will be able to download two free PS3 games from this list: Dead Nation, inFAMOUS, LittleBigPlanet, Super Stardust HD, or Wipeout HD + Fury.  Those sporting a PSP will be able to download two of these: LittleBigPlanet (PSP), ModNation Racers, Pursuit Force or Killzone Liberation.

Heads up though – the games will only be available for 30 days starting today, but once you buy them they are yours to keep.  I’m sure the jokes at E3 will be rampant, but I applaud Sony for trying to make things right.
